Is window tint legal in Texas?
Yes — in Texas, front side windows must let in at least 25% of light (25% VLT), back and rear windows can be any darkness as long as the vehicle has dual side mirrors, and only non-reflective tint is allowed on the windshield above the AS-1 line (about the top five inches).
How long does window tint last?
Quality automotive window tint typically lasts ten years or more, and premium ceramic films are built to resist fading, bubbling, and peeling for the life of the vehicle.
Does window tinting block heat and UV rays?
Yes — quality window film blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays and rejects a large share of solar heat, keeping your interior cooler and protecting both your upholstery and your skin.
What's the difference between ceramic and dyed window tint?
Dyed film is the budget option that mainly adds darkness and privacy, while ceramic film costs more but rejects far more heat, resists fading, and won't interfere with cell or GPS signals.
